Pemberton
All Change at AGM 2025
At our AGM on Wednesday 30th April 2025, our management team saw some changes.
Our new secretary is our youngest at 18 years old, Ruby Bennett, who has been a volunteer from being 14 years old.
Our former secretary, Alison Glover is now Assistant Secretary. Former Chair, Helen Arrowsmith, has become Treasurer. Whilst Former Treasurer, Dave Arrowsmith, is now Chair. Ange Colquitt is still Lead for our Pemberton Green Spaces and we welcome new volunteer Allison Pyke.
Sponsorship
We are again looking for a business to help sponsor our Christmas Market and Children events as well as Coach for our family panto trip. We try to find funding by grants, fundraising and sponsorship towards our work. If you can help, please email us at pembertonevents@post.com or 07305 978989
Volunteers
To continue our work in the community, we need new volunteers to help arrange and attend events, take out our Santa and Sleigh in the Community. We have a youth volunteer section as well as our adults. We appreciate all our helpers and volunteers, no pressure, as little or as much time as you can give.
Community Support
We would like to say a huge thankyou to Phil at Crystal Leisurewear in Pemberton, Jonathan at Geetess and Tracey at Traceys Pemberton Local on Worsley Green (bottom of Worsley Street) for sponsoring our Christmas Market and a special thank you to Suzanne and Headteacher at Dean Trust Academy for their support again this year. Their continued support is always greatfully received.
Pemberton Christmas
Our Christmas Market will be being arranged from January and a date set. The event takes place on and at venues around Chapel Street and also in and around the White Swan and Lamberhead Green Working Mens Club. Pemberton Green Spaces
We now have a sister group.. Pemberton Green Spaces, which was set up by one of our volunteers, Angela Colquitt, who is passionate about Pemberton and has set up links with several local businesses. PGS can be found on Face Book
